STEM Connex is partnering with a leading European contractor specialising in the delivery of complex, mission-critical facilities. We are seeking an Electrical Package Manager for a high-profile data centre project in Lisbon.
About the role
You will oversee the delivery of electrical works from early coordination to commissioning and handover. As the primary contact for your package, you will liaise with project leadership, designers, subcontractors, and the client to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
Key responsibilites
- Take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of the electrical package.
- Lead electrical design coordination and resolve technical queries in collaboration with consultants and site teams.
- Promote rigorous standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance throughout all electrical operations.
- Assist overall project planning through aligning electrical works with programme milestones.
- Manage package budgets, forecasting costs and controlling expenditure across labour, materials and subcontractors
- Oversee on-site electrical activities, ensuring productivity targets and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate subcontractors, monitoring progress, resources and sequencing of works.
- Track and close out defects and incomplete work in line with project requirements
- Contribute to regular progress, cost and risk reporting.
- Manage procurement schedules and ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Participate in coordination, planning and handover meetings.
- Support testing, commissioning and final client handover
What we’re looking for
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- Demonstrable experience managing electrical packages on large-scale construction projects
- Exposure to data centres, life sciences, industrial or other technically complex environments preferred
- Strong understanding of design-and-build delivery models
- Well-versed in Health & Safety standards and site-based best practice
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and subcontractor performance
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in fast-paced project environments
